Tranås 15/6-15/8 2010
This year Tomma Rum will be held in the town of Tranås. The local municipality offer us “The Telegraph” as a studio and exhibition space with closeby accommodation.
About Tranås
With a population of 18000, Tranås is a conurbation in the north of the province Småland. The municipality borrow us bikes and the local buses are free of charge. Biking distance to Lake Sommen.
About “The Telegraph”
Our studio and exhibition space is a disused communications central next to the town’s main street. It has three floors at a total of 1000 square meters. We envision our activities to offer daily opening hours for the public.
About the accommodation
The municipality provides us with very fresh student housing close to the main street and The Telegraph. We will have access to a communal kitchen, bathroom, balcony, washer and dish washer. As participants we all share responsibility for cleaning and cooking. You must be prepared to share (bed)rooms with others.
